The quilting is inspired by melon bread and the embroidery is inspired by pastries that smell freshly baked. There are six types of embroidery: pancakes, canelés, butter, galette bretonne, toast, and pretzels.

Round Rug
The fabric is 100% cotton using 100-count thread, which feels soft against the skin, and the reverse side is a brown gingham check that resembles a bakery's cotton cloth.
The melon bread-like quilting uses more padding than a regular round rug, giving the impression of fluffy bread.
20 count is common for household towels, and 30 count is common for hotel towels. The higher the number, the finer and more refined the thread, and the softer the fabric is to the touch, which makes it more luxurious. The extra padding reduces the feeling of hitting the bottom. Because it is circular, photos from directly above are popular as a growth record, and it can also be used as a play mat when the child gets a little bigger.
